Come and Play with clay! We offer weekly morning and evening classes, in 5 week terms. The upcoming term begins on October 3, and both our classes will be held on Thursdays.

Want to practice independently? Rent a wheel! We recommend enrolling in a class first, but if you have a bit of throwing experience and you just need to practice, now you can!

Studio Experience

Bring a group of up to 6 friends/family together to play with clay in my pottery studio in Spanish Point! All ages and abilities are welcome (under 18s accompanied).

In the 2 hour workshop, you’ll be introduced to different pottery techniques, and be supported in the creation of a pottery masterpiece. The focus of the taster sessions is to connect with your creativity through clay; to play, and to get a feel for pottery- Minimum group of 4

€60 per person (€50 u12s)

Firings not included (can be arranged)

If you want to really put your head down and work hard on your throwing, you can come and spend the whole week in the studio.

The days are split in to three blocks - morning and afternoon throwing, and free use of the studio to practice independently in the evenings.

Groups are capped at 3 participants, and are arranged on the basis of interest - you can book as a group, or by yourself.

The focus of the week will be throwing technique and practice.

Week-long Intensive

Weekend Intensive

The two-day intensive will be 5 hours per day, and you will have the opportunity to explore various pottery techniques - both wheel throwing and hand-building.

If you’d like to spend the weekend working with clay, I’d love to welcome you to the studio. I’ll be on hand to help throughout the process with demonstrations and suggestions, and by the end of the weekend you’ll walk away with two finished pieces and a whole new skillset.
